Merry Christmas! Too soon?

At Wealth Matters, we love to talk about Christmas. More specifically, we love helping our wealth management and financial services clients come up with thoughtful Christmas gifts. Every year, we get asked for our favorite gift ideas, so here they are in one full list!

The best client gifts are thoughtful, useful, and personal. Our 2026 Wealth Matters Favorite Things are the gifts we've seen make an impact, from branded merchandise to locally sourced finds and memorable experiences. They're great ways to say "thank you" to your clients, team, and centers of influence (COIs), without making the gift feel like another marketing piece.

To logo or not to logo is always a top question. In general, we prefer gifts with no logo. A gift should not be self-serving. However, if you are rebranding or unveiling a new brand, a logo gift can be a great way to reinforce the launch.

One quick note before you order: check with your CCO on gift limits and reporting requirements.

Here are our team's favorite picks!

branded gifts

Branded Gifts

If you need to give a gift with a logo, make sure it's something that won't get tossed in the trash. These items will be used over and over again, reminding your clients of your thoughtfulness every time. And maybe prompting them to pick up the phone.

Branded Golf Balls For the golfers on your list, a dozen premium balls with your logo is a gift they'll actually play. Every round is a little reminder of you.

Patagonia Vest A classic layer that works at the office, on the weekend, and everywhere in between. Keep the logo small and tasteful.

Peter Millar Quarter Zip Soft, polished, and a wardrobe staple for many of your clients. This one gets worn on repeat.

Yeti Rambler or Insulated Tote Bag The Rambler goes from the morning commute to the afternoon tee time, and the tote is perfect for the beach or the boat. Both are built to last for years.

Branded AirTags Holder Your clients travel, and nothing is worse than a lost bag. A leather AirTag holder or luggage tag with your logo subtly debossed is useful, stylish, and it goes everywhere they go. Include the AirTag itself so it's ready to use right out of the box.

Portable Speaker A quality Bluetooth speaker ends up by the pool, on the boat, and at every family gathering. Choose a brand known for sound quality and keep the logo small. This is one they'll use for years.

no logo gifts

Gifts Without a Logo

Box of Local Goodies A curated, beautiful box of locally sourced treats shows your clients how thoughtful you are and how much you value the relationship.

Experiences Sometimes the best gift is a memory. My friend is a lawyer who wanted to send a personal gift to a client. He found out his client was a huge fan of a particular band, so he called the client's assistant, confirmed he'd be free the night of the concert, and sent him the tickets. The client never forgot that gesture, and he has been a constant source of referrals ever since.

You can also invite a small group of clients to a holiday show, or host an intimate cocktail evening at a great local spot. It's a chance to celebrate the year without a business agenda, and spouses will appreciate being included too.

Sock Gift Box Everyone needs socks. A curated box of quality socks is unique, thoughtful, and a little funny. Your client will smile every time they pull on a pair. Plus, the box they come in is very high-end.

Handcrafted Heirloom Knives This gift may sound unusual, but I have never received a knife I didn't appreciate. These are handcrafted and particularly suited for gifting. Pair them with a note like "You are always a cut above. Here's to another year of sharp thinking together!" One fun tradition: tuck a coin in the box. Old superstition says a gifted knife "cuts" the relationship, so the recipient "buys" it from you with the coin instead.

Stationery Personalized or not, high-end stationery is something everyone loves to receive but no one enjoys buying for themselves.

Extra-Sharp, Fancy Scissors Same idea as the knife. To this day, my scissors are one of my favorite Christmas gifts. I think about the giver every time I use them.

Cutting Board Another favorite. I love to cook and always appreciate a cutting board that is well made and beautiful. It's a client gift I still use almost every day.

Handcrafted Wooden Bowls My neighbor builds beautiful homes on Palm Beach. At the end of every project, he gives his clients a handcrafted bowl filled with local artisan goodies. I've been lucky enough to receive one (though he did not build my home, and I do not live on Palm Beach!). I use it all the time, and it's a prized possession in my home.

edible client gifts

Edible Gifts

We love edible gifts, but they should be high-end and a little unexpected. Forget the cheese log rolled in nuts, please! These food gifts are thoughtful, easy to share with family or an office, and actually get eaten.

Luxe Tin of Cookies A beautiful tin of bakery-quality cookies always lands well. Bonus: the tin sticks around long after the cookies are gone. Look for a local bakery in your client's city so it feels personal, not ordered from a catalog.

Branded Tony's Chocolate This is the one exception to our no-logo rule in the edible category. Tony's Chocolonely lets you customize the wrapper, so your brand shows up in a fun, colorful way without feeling like a sales pitch. And it's really good chocolate with a great mission behind it.

Gourmet Holiday Food Delivery For the client who hosts the whole family over the holidays, a gourmet meal or brunch delivery takes one thing off their plate (literally). Time it for the week of Christmas and you'll be the hero of their holiday.

A Final Word

The best gifts aren't the most expensive ones. They're the ones that show you were paying attention. Pair any of these with a handwritten note and you'll be remembered well into the new year.

Happy gifting from all of us at Wealth Matters!
